April 2016 - Autonics has officially been accepted to the Witness Test Data Program (WTDP) from UL, the most widely recognized safety testing and certification organization.
The Witness Test Data Program (WTDP) is part of UL’s Data Acceptance Program (DAP) which allows companies to utilize their own facilities for product testing under UL’s supervision. This means that participating test facilities are required to have the appropriate resources, equipment, and qualified personnel to conduct the testing, equivalent to what would be used in UL’s own laboratories.
Acceptance to the UL’s Witness Test Data Program (WTDP) shows that Autonics has passed the strict requirements for the program which is thoroughly reviewed and audited by the UL. It will now allow increased control over the timing and schedule for our product testing and certification program, which means we will be able to bring new and high quality products faster into the market.
Autonics will continue to improve on our standards for safety and quality testing and aim to acquire UL’s Client Test Data Program (CTDP) which will further decrease turnaround time for our projects
